Service NSW | Principal Product Designer
As a principal designer across both web (MyAccount logged in experience, service creation and account management) and app (core app functions and features) I was responsible for long-term planning of team quarterly roadmaps and UX design team strategy, providing the vision and direction for large and small scale projects. I was also a design lead for teams of up to 4 designers. My ambition was to bring my knowledge of lean UX & agile methodology to the public sector.
WooliesX | Senior UX Designer
As a Senior UX designer at WooliesX (focussed on search, home page, shopping mode and product feature experience) leading end-to-end product across multiple squads focusing on both the app and web experience specialising in search, home page, shopping mode and product feature experience. My focus was to advocate for user-centric design principles while moving quickly, testing and iterating rapidly while keeping the customer at the heart.
Gumtree (eCG) | Senior Product Designer
As a senior product designer in the Buyer strategy team (focus on homepage, ratings, and search), I worked with cross-functional teams to deliver on end-to-end (UX/UI) designs and solutions on multiple products including ratings, web and app modernisation and roll out of the React component library. QuoteUp App | Co-Founder
Co-founded a startup that focuses on providing small businesses the ability to provide their customers optimal end-to-end customer service through a quoting and invoice tool. Instrumental in all aspects of business development, UX, UI and marketing (basically a one man band). QuoteUp is still available to use and download on all platforms and actively used by over 1,000 users.
Open Colleges | Digital Designer (UI)
My first role as a digital designer, moving from tangible products to digital design. I started outputting courses to digital form by converting course material to a digital format, eventually joining the foundation team focused on improving the user experience and creating company style guides for both e-learning and platform based assets.
EPE / Roman | Product Designer
My roles at both EPE and Roman Equipment (post acquisition) was an industrial product designer & creative lead. I worked with sales teams to deliver products made for purpose, liaised with suppliers in the product manufacturing phase and concept development, through to sampling and final product import and graphic, branding and packaging design.
Interests
I am infatuated with basketball. I play, watch, analyse and coach. Helping young athletes and teams reach or exceed their potential and being a part of their journey brings me joy. I see basketball as a medium to teach discipline, perseverance and have fun – helping me improve as a person too. I also enjoy cooking (self-proclaimed Masterchef), enjoy being in nature and am always in search of the next destination to travel.
I am appreciative of technology and the way it has improved our lives. I am routinely keeping up to date with tech, AI, UX also reading up on industry trends and practices.
